Eternity

I find it’s never ending

This conquest to be more

To grow from what’s to come

To release what’s been done

I find it perpetuating

A cycle of both what’s nourishing and what sucks me dry

I find apprehension to keep moving forward

Yet also greed

That no matter how much I devour

It is never enough
