If we feel what's real, do we feel intentionally or is there a greater force, pulling us to the feeling?

Destined to be the beauty in a frame,

While we both feel anxious with thoughts we can’t contain.

Adore you, adore me, we must both be the same.

And minutes that pass us, who is there to blame?

By this cycle, it’s exciting, you can feel it in your veins.

We had learned this, it’s inviting, now we’re bouncing in our brains.

Don’t mellow our sorrows just let them break the high

They can shatter equations, expressing in the sky.

Are we just the champions who’ve gained each other’s love

Should we just feel bad for those who say we’re not enough?

Smiling in the open air, all I need to touch

You could fill me anywhere, with a shine to make me blush.

Both sides are hardly in disguise

Both sides need not be explained

Razor blades that cut our lines are running in a daze.

Mediocre centerpiece, admired, loved by all

But it’s not our masterpiece so we don’t get involved.

Partly me and partly you, we lost a lot of chance

Here we are among the stars, where we can finally dance

Boast your dreams, they will come true, for a life that gives a glance

Embody me, embody you, our purity advanced.

To rekindle such a fire, that envelopes our love

In the middle, a desire, worth a second touch.

From what we’ve seen, we’re recounted and bound to always trust

In the motions, by a fountain, dripping crystals of the lust.

Backwards stepping, to escape, there’s denial on the rise

But a peak melts and we’re covered in snow that takes our life.

By a moment, that’s in passing, we’ll never gain a grip

And as the well fills, they shout out, campaigning us to dip

Through the water we find posture to stand in all their hate

And we come out standing taller, with a fuller range of gait.

By an echo we could hear it, when the people shout our name

In a silence by a clearing, where we’ll never be the same.

So salute me, I salute you, for we stand to remain

By the people who had framed us and left us in disdain.

Embrace me, embrace you, we’ve both seen better days

We lost all, just to gain us, and they can’t take that away.

So let’s invite them to our table, we feast, though they betray

And they sit with snark ambitions, with a gnawing sense of hate.

Yet we smile take their hand, we will never turn our face

In their vile, aching plans, they are soldiers who lie in wait.

This burden we have carried that almost brought us down

And imagine all the buried who would’ve felt the ground.

In a shaking and a tumult, the pressures start to rise

Though a fragrance fills our lungs up, we’re called to face the sky.

In a mild temperature, translucent features hide

We notice, though, the turn of tide, and in our hearts decide

Forever placing love with you, holding hands, we unite.

Pressures have no weight on us and merit stays so true

A distance calling drifts away, circling the sky so blue.

We stand together hand in hand, hearts beating two and two

A pulse unites and locks us in, forever stolen by you.

We made our decision to stand our ground and choose each other’s worlds

As a memory, I can’t replace, hides in the rarest pearl.

We manifest and grow a fate, a pleasure to our mural

And we’ll survive through honest hate, a plight in our reward.

Though sustainment lacks the truest words that could fill us with hope

I grip your arm and pull you close, make me happy in your abode

What a smile then? We’d both share when coming to this road

And contrary to every taste, we did it on our own.

Excepting of course a grandiose presence that ignites

Fueling fire to our virtue and through him we found our life

So long last in me you will. Don’t forget this home you grasp.

People come and go, but still, I’ll love you for all I have.

No home I rest in has ever been such a guiding place

And the happiness I feel with you is something I can’t erase.

I speak out now through chords of love for I can’t help but proclaim

You’re light is guidance and I’ll always love you till my dying day.

There’s words to define a happiness that seems to vibrate from you

But I can’t find those words and string them up to make you woo

Close your eyes, please, and take my hand, I promise you’ll be safe

And I shall always protect and care for you in every way.

Fear nothing when you’re here with me, I’ve never felt so strong

And I will carry everything, delaying nights so long.

Fear, mistrust, misguidance too, feel hopeless and despair

But look to me, my eyes will tell you that you will never fail

You’re strong alone, but together, we could fight a war from all

And as I breathe my dying breath, I know who I must call.

So here we sit, in perfect joy, expressive all the way

I promised that I wouldn’t cry but what else could I proclaim

Look down on me with loving eyes, I know the way we endear.

I’ve lost the day, but you will rise—

My love, you’re all I hear.

As I fade out, you grasp my hand.

I’m sorry for this end. But in the future you’ll face the sky, and look for me again.
